Abstract
The Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) in association with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS), organized International Expert Consultation (IEC) on Building the 'CIARD' (Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development) Framework for Data and Information sharing during June 20-23 2011 at Beijing for the CIARD partners. Nearly 50 experts from around the world have participated in the consultation and I was the official nominee of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) representing Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the consultation.
