I earned my PhD (Plant Physiology) from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New
Delhi in 2004 and in the same year joined in Agricultural Research Service with Indian
Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. After working at various institutes
of ICAR, currently, I am at ICAR Research Centre for Eastern Region, Research Centre,
Ranchi in Jharkhand, India as Senior Scientist (Plant Physiology). Apart from my plant
physiology of agriculture and horticultural crops, I have interests in Free Software and
Open Access to Research. I am also now acting as Convener, Open Access India and Mentor,
