I am a lecturer in geology specialising in field geology, mineral resources and
tectonics. I have a strong interest in geoscience education and geodiversity. My research
areas include the New England and Lachlan orogens of eastern Australia as well as Central
Asia and Indonesia. I am interested in the tectonic processes responsible for ore deposit
formation, particularly ores associated with ophiolites and the potential for CO2 mineral
sequestration via carbonatization of serpentinite and ultramafic rocks. I am happy to
supervise PhD students in any related topics.
