Dr Sam Jebeile has spent over 15 years working as a senior lecturer and presenter at undergraduate and post-graduate levels for the University of Wollongong, Macquarie University and the University of Western Sydney. He is a qualified CPA and has also presented professional learning modules for CPA Australia. Sam’s academic qualifications include a first class honours, Master’s Degree and PhD in the field of accounting and education. In addition to his role as a teacher and academic, Sam has worked in public practice with firms such as Ferrier and Hodgson and has served as a private management consultant in both the public and private sectors including clients such as KPMG (Quality Assurance Services) and the NSW Department of Education and Training (Sydney Region). During his career, Sam has also been involved extensively in youth work as a project officer with the NSW Office of Youth Affairs helping young people in transition in both the Help Early Leavers Program (HELP) and the Circuit Breaker Initiative. More recently he has been an active ambassador and mentor for AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience). In 2004 he was appointed as a NSW Public Education Ambassador and has also been the recipient of several awards for outstanding service from the NSW Department of Education.
