This article is about an award-winning case-study at the Flagstone Creek State School (FCSS), a small rural school in Queensland. This project was part of an extensive research program entitled Innovative School-community Learning in a Digital World. It was awarded a 2009 Queensland Government Department of Education and Training Showcase Award for Excellence in Schools at the regional level (Darling Downs Southwest Queensland Awards), under the category of Excellence in Innovation.
