Innovative school-community learning in a digital world
These nine sequential media files are portions of a film produced by The University of Southern Queensland's (USQ) Media Services, with special commendation to Eddie Flemming. The videos document a research project conducted between January and June 2008. The research site was Flagstone Creek State School. The Primary Researcher was Dr. Shelley Kinash, who was a Visiting Academic to the Faculty of Education at the University of Southern Queensland from the University of Calgary, in Canada. Dr. Kinash is currently the Acting Director of Quality, Teaching, and Learning at Bond University. The Secondary Researchers were Michelle Hoffman, USQ Student, David Prestridge, Principal and Caroline Evans, Teacher at Flagstone Creek State School. Other USQ academics were also part of the research team. The research project won The Remserv Showcase Award for Excellence in Innovation and the Australian College of Educators' Excellence in Education Award.
