Abstract

This is an extract from a note on a recent judgment of the High Court of Australia, Williams v. Commonwealth. The decision touches on the Australian Religious Tests Clause, which is an analogue of the Religious Test Clause in the United States Constitution. The Note cites the Teachout-Tillman exchange, and Tillman's Response to Chafetz (a forthcoming publication)

The judicial opinion can be found here: http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/cases/cth/HCA/2012/23.html.
