About Sarah R. Paradis

Dr. Sarah Paradis previously taught trombone at Ohio University prior to coming to Boise State. She earned her D.M. in Brass Pedagogy and M.M. in Trombone Performance at Indiana University, and her B.M. in Music Education from Ithaca College. Dr. Paradis has performed in orchestras since 2007 including the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and the Ohio Valley Symphony as the principle trombone. In addition to this she is also a member of various chamber ensembles such as the Mirari Brass Quintet which performs innovative music for student and community audiences across the country, and the Bell(e) Collective, a women’s brass ensemble which performs across the Midwest. She is also a current member of the International Trombone Association and the International Women’s Brass Conference among others.
