I am committed to the educational access and participation of all students
regardless of background and this commitment is demonstrated by both my approach to
teaching as well as practical strategies I have implemented to improve the student
experience. My teaching experience spans the higher education, vocational and adult
education sectors. This diversity of experience enables me to remain mindful of the needs
of diverse student populations, recognising that students arrive at university with
varying levels of skills and knowledge. By treating students as individuals and employing
the skills of empathy, accessibility and flexibility, I strive to maximise students’
educational successes.
