I am a post-doc researcher at the Professorship for Law at ETH Zurich. I received my
Ph.D. from the European Doctorate in Law and Economics (Universities of Bologna,
Rotterdam and Hamburg). My broad research interests are in empirical law and economics
and comparative law, with specific applications to medical malpractice, damages,
litigation, health law, insurance and constitutional courts.

Currently I am working on medical malpractice decisions from the Spanish Supreme Court,
with a focus on differences between civil and administrative jurisdictions and
compensations. I am also working on insurance for medical malpractice in Italian regions,
focusing on public hospitals.

I received my M.P.P.A. (Master in Public Policy and Administration) and BA (Licenciatura)
in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal).
