About Ryan Ingersoll

Ryan is a Pacific Northwest native and began his educational technology career at Trinity Lutheran College. In 2008, he moved to Minneapolis and survived multiple harsh winters in while working at Augsburg University as the Teaching and Learning Spaces Liaison. Returning to the PNW in 2010, Ryan became the Head of Library Technology at Seattle Pacific University where he served for seven years supporting the educational technology needs of students, faculty, and staff. For the past three years, Ryan served as the Dean of Libraries at George Fox University where he led the libraries, digital learning, archives, and served as the co-director of the Digital Fluency Institute.

In 2016, he earned a M.Ed. in Digital Education Leadership Seattle Pacific University and also earned a Graduate Certificate in Christian Studies from Seattle Pacific Seminary.

Ryan, who regularly queues for new Apple products, enjoys discussing the intersection of technological innovation and theological reflection over a good cup of coffee. He is passionate about helping others authentically live and learn in both analog and digital spaces.
