Biography: Mr. Ruben Ndihokubwayo holds a Masters Degree in Construction Management
(2008) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology - South Africa and a Bachelor Honours
Degree in Quantity Surveying (2005) from National University of Science and Technology -
Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Ruben’s first venture into research was in 2004 when he developed an
Increased Cost Adjustment (ICA) Formula suitable for optimum cost escalation recovery in
high inflationary and unstable macroeconomic environments. His areas of research interest
include resource optimisation and policy-related issues in construction. Ruben has
published several papers in conference proceedings and journals at local and
international venues. He is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of the
Built Enviorment at Cape Peninsula University of Technology - Cape Town - South Africa.
Ruben is a PhD candidate in Construction Economics at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan
University - Port Elizabeth - South Africa
