I am currently employed at the University of Tennessee Libraries where I have worked
in various positions including Reference Services, Training/Professional Development, and
currently as the Administrator of the University of Tennessee’s Institutional Repository,
known as Trace (Tennessee Research and Creative Exchange). Previously I had a successful
career in business management and professional technical training. 

I am responsible for implementation, training and daily operations of Trace. My duties
include working with Trace communities to establish policies, procedures and workflows
for the evaluation and intake of content into the repository, developing and conducting
training programs and workshops on the benefits and use of the repository, creating user
documentation and acting as the technical liaison between the University Libraries
Digital Library Initiatives, University Libraries Scholarly Communications and bepress™
(Berkeley Electronic Press). I also continue to be active in providing information
literacy and library research instruction to students as well as reference assistance
both in person and electrically via chat and email. 

In my previous position with the University of Tennessee Libraries I coordinated the
continuing education and developmental opportunities for library staff as well as the
designed and developed workshops, courses and programs used in the library’s professional
development activities and provided orientation training to new library employees.
