Abstract
The keynote address to the UNWTO Commission for Europe in Baku, Azerbaijan. Provides a European perspective on the global economic and financial crisis. The cause of the crisis is explained, current economic conditions are discussed, some forecasts are suggested, needed policy responses are outlined, and some possible implications for global and European institutions are explored.Suggested Citation
