Abstract
This volume is the proceedings of an international congress held at the University of Bologna, Italy, 27–31 May 2003. Major sections are devoted to the architects of the green revolution: biodiversity and germplasm resources; genes, QTLs and crop improvement; tools, models and platforms for plant genomics; genetic engineering for food security and biofarming; and plant biotechnology and society. The congress celebrated the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the structure of DNA.Suggested Citation
