About Robert B. Hackey

Bob Hackey joined the faculty of the Health Policy and Management program at Providence College in 1999, and was promoted to the rank of Professor in 2002. He served as Director of the HPM program, and later as department chair, from 2010-2018. He is a faculty associate at the Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy at Brown University. His principal areas of teaching and research include health care reform, health professions, health care in popular culture, and hospital mergers and regulation.
