Dr. Robert J. Deahl, dean of the College of Professional Studies, joined Marquette
in 1994 and has been the first and only dean of the college since 1996. 

Deahl's teaching focuses on leadership, ethics and organizational systems and
dynamics. In addition, his academic and professional work focuses on adult learning
pedagogy, programming and research as well as understanding and applying the dynamics of
leadership excellence.
