Modern energy problems have increased the call for alternative energy technologies.
Many of these technologies can be improved through materials with engineered properties
for specific applications. I am interested in studying these materials.

Currently I am a Masters student for Dr. TC Shen at Utah State University. We are
developing methods for growing arrays of carbon nanotubes with specific height and
density for application as light absorbing surfaces.
