Northern Gateway pipeline: Why American environmental groups are funding Canadian ones in the fight against it.

Abstract

The Canadian federal government, supported by the right wing press, has being trying to paint as a conspiracy the financial support of Canadian aboriginal groups and environmental ones by offshore environmental interests. This brief article points out why such action is entirely legitimate and discusses the recent history of oil leaks and the risks associated with the Northern Gateway pipeline.
