About Pong P. Chu

Dr. Pong P. Chu joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University in 1989 and currently is an Associate Professor. He received the B.S. degree from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. His research and teaching are in the area of digital systems and he is the author of "RTL Hardware Design Using VHDL," "FPGA Prototyping by VHDL Examples," "FPGA Prototyping by Verilog Examples," and "Embedded SoPC Design with Nios II Processor and VHDL Examples." Although this is not his ideal job, he likes the school and works very hard to fulfill all the duties at CSU.
