Pinar Karaca-Mandic is an assistant professor at the Division of Health Policy and
Management, School of Public Health, University of Minnesota, and an adjunct economist at
RAND Corporation. Her research covers topics in public health, health economics and law
& economics. She is particularly interested in health insurance benefit design,
health care regulations and markets.
