Abstract
This article aims to contribute to approach the idea of justice in an ontological way, not a sociological one. To this, it studies (as one among all of the many possible examples) the contribution of St. Anthony of Lisbon, a franciscan from the late XIIth and the begginings of the XIIIth century. At one of his sermons, he gives us a description of the elements and ends of justice with which we have a lot to learn nowadays. Mainly, concieving Justice as the just decision, after considering a social perspective.
