Abstract

The article discusses exercise program guidelines for individuals presenting with chronic nonspecific low back pain (CNSLBP). The exercise program recommendations described are for medically cleared clients who have been cleared from formal physical therapy and rehabilitation. They are told to accomplish a pre-activity screening with an exercise professional to determine risk. The exercise program involves aerobic training, resistance training, and flexibility and neuromotor training.
