Associate Professor Peter Miller BBus(UTS) MBus(NE) PhD(SCU) 

Peter Miller is presently an Associate Professor in the Graduate College of Management at
Southern Cross University, and Director of the International Centre for Professional
Doctorates. Prior to joining Southern Cross University in 1991, he had 18 years
management experience in public and private sector organisations, most recently as
Business Manager with a large public mining company. Previously, he was an industrial
advocate and organisational analyst within New South Wales Government organisations.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the UTS and a Master of Business degree
from UNE-NR and a PhD in the area of managerial and organisational performance. 

He has been involved in consultancy with a number of large organisations in the areas of
management and organisational development. 

He is Editor of the Australasian Journal of Business and Social Enquiry and on the
Editorial Board of the Journal of Workplace Learning and several other international
journals. General Research Interests: Management Development; Leadership; Organisational
Change and Development; Managerial Competencies; Managerial and Organisational
Performance; Human Resource Development Development,Competency Assessment; Doctoral
supervisory practice and professional development.
