Penny Glassman, MSLS, is the Head of Technology Initiatives at the Lamar Soutter
Library at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Penny earned her graduate
degree in library science from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Penny is also an instructor at the University of Phoenix, teaching a class on Web Design.
Prior to her current position, Penny was as the Technology Coordination on the National
Network of Libraries of Medicine contract between UMass Med and the National Library of
Medicine. Prior to joining UMass, Penny was a Product Marketing Manager at Invention
Machine Corporation, Geac Computers, and CLSI, Inc.
