Dr. Paula Jones serves as an Instructional Designer in the Instructional Development Center at Eastern Kentucky University. Dr. Jones has designed, developed, and taught numerous online courses. She serves as a Master Course Reviewer and Trainer for Quality Matters. She has also developed multiple professional development programs for faculty in relation to teaching and facilitating online courses. She is active in several professional organizations and has published in a variety of journals and books. She has presented at multiple national conferences and online forums including Sloan-C Conference, Quality Matters Conferences, E-Learning Guild Conference, AECT, SITE, Critical Thinking Conference, and E-Learn World (AACE) Conference. Her research interests focus on student and faculty perspectives in teaching and learning online and ways of utilizing instructional technology to offer more effective communication and instructional opportunities to learners.
