Professor Paul Stanton Kibel at Golden Gate University School of Law (in San
Francisco, CA) specializes in water law, natural resources law and international
environmental law. He serves as faculty editor for the GGU Environmental Law Journal and
as co-director for the GGU Center for Urban Environmental Law (CUEL). Professor Kibel is
a former partner with and currently of counsel to the natural resources and water law
practice group at Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP. His publications include the
books "The Earth on Trial: Environmental Law on the International Stage"
(1999), and "Rivertown: Rethinking Urban Rivers" (2007). Professor Kibel holds
an LL.M from the University of California at Berkeley's Boalt Hall Law School and a
B.A. from Colgate University.
