Paul Dainty specialises in the areas of senior executive behaviour, leadership and management development. A highly experienced and respected consultant, Paul has worked with numerous organisations, providing consulting services in the areas of leadership, team-building and change management. He also spent four years as Head of Human Resources for Pacific Dunlop Ltd, an international company with 40,000 employees worldwide. Paul is Professor of Management Development at The University of Melbourne and has held academic roles at Cranfield School of Management (Bedford, UK) and City University (London). His research focuses on the nature of the senior executive role and the qualities needed to operate as a senior executive. He has also investigated the competences that can be developed from MBA programs. Paul is the co-author of The MBA Companion, The Capable Executive and The Handbook for Management Researchers.
