I am currently engaged in doctoral research at University College- National
University of Ireland, Cork where I was awarded a presidential scholarship for doctoral
studies in the Faculty of Law. I am a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of
Nigeria and was engaged in the practice of law in Nigeria before moving to Europe for
further studies. I did my first degrees in English (Language and Literature) and Law at
the University of Ilorin and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria respectively. I
further did a Masters degree in Law at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I completed a
Master’s degree in International Economic Law at the University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K
in 2005. My research areas include Corporate Law Theory, Corporate Governance, Corporate
Social Responsibility, Human Rights and Multinational Corporations.
