About Noah Salzman

After receiving his Ph.D. in Engineering Education from Purdue University, Noah Salzman joined Boise State University as an Assistant Professor for the IDo Teach program which is a collaboration between the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the College of Education to help prepare secondary mathematics and science teachers. Dr. Salzman also earned his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue, and an M.Ed. in Secondary Science Education from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College. His recent research has focused on the effects of participation in pre-college engineering activities on the experiences of first-year engineering students. Dr. Salzman is currently a member of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Society.
