Boise State professor Dr. Nina Ray combines a background in marketing and international business with a fluency in numerous languages to pursue research in these areas, with a special interest in tourism, including heritage and re-enactment travel. Dr. Ray holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Texas Tech University with a major in Marketing and minors in International Business and Statistics, and an M.S. in Management from Purdue University. She has been a professor of Marketing and International Business at Boise State University since 1986. In addition to teaching here on campus, she has taught Ecotourism Marketing in Costa Rica, business and language courses in Mexico, MBA research in Vietnam, and Marketing in Italy. Dr. Ray has presented her findings internationally and has also served as a reviewer for marketing and tourism journals.
