About Nike Arnold

Nike Arnold is Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon (USA).

She was born and raised in Germany (Stuttgart), where she attended Eberhard Karls Universität in Tübingen and Universität Stuttgart. She received her M.A. in German from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (1998) and her Ph.D. in German/Applied Linguistics from The University of Texas at Austin (2002).

Nike is a member of the Editorial Board of Language Learning & Technology and the Executive Board of CALICO.
