Peace and War in the 20th Century - a massive digitization project (funded by Library and
Archives Canada) that includes nearly 3000 digitized objects, along with over 50 case

World War, 1939-1945, German Concentration Camps and Prisons Collection - a collection of
correspondences available from these camps: Arbeitsdorf, Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen,
Buchenwald, Dachau, Dondanen, Dora, Fallersleben, Floßenürg, Groß-Rosen, Gusen,
Herzogenbusch, Janowska, Jungfernhof, Kaiserwalk, Kauen, Klooga, Kurtenhof, Lemberg,
Lublin, Majdanek, Mauthausen, Mittelbau, Natzweiler, Neuengamme, Niederhagen, Plaszow,
Ravenbrück, Riga, Sachsenhausen, Salapils, Sangerhausen, Struthof, Stuttof, Torgau,
Vaivara, Vught, Warschau, and Wewelsberg. 

The McMaster Collection - a mass book digitization project utilizing a Kirtas 2400RA
robotic book scanner. Primary library collections being prepared for scanning are, 18th
Century Fiction, Russell Library. Rare books from Research Collections that are being
considered are: Dialogo di Galileo Galilei Linceo [Galileo’s Dialogue], 1632; Sir Isaac
Newton, Opticks, or A treatise of the reflexions, refractions, inflexions and colours of
light, 1704; H.G. Wells, The Time Machine, first edition, 1895, autographed; Bernard
Freeman Trotter, A Canadian Twilight and Other Poems of War and of Peace, 1917; D.H.
Lawrence, Women in Love, Privately printed for subscribers only, 1920 [i.e., 1922]
autographed.
