Dr Shujau received his BEng (Hons 1) Telecommunications Engineering from the
University of Wollongong in 2001 and then studied from 2008 to receive his PhD with
thesis titled, ‘In Air Acoustic Vector Sensors for Capturing and Processing of Speech
Signals’ in 2011. Through the intervening years of study, Dr Shujau joined the Maldives
National University as Assistant Lecturer. The University of Wollongong welcomed Dr
Shujau as a Research Fellow in 2011 and was appointed Lecturer in 2012.
