M Ryan Hess serves as the Web Services Coordinator for the DePaul University Libraries. His work includes administering the libraries' website, digital image collection webpages, DePaul's institutional repository (Via Sapientiae) and work with other online platforms. His work also involves user testing, web usability and statistics collection. Before coming to DePaul, M Ryan Hess worked for Adobe Systems, where he provided market research and highlighted trends identified by the technology analyst community. He is also author of the Ten Minute Activist, a book on easy, personal ways individuals can adapt their lifestyles in environmentally sustainable ways.
