Abstract
This webinar highlights 2 NNLM MAR funded projects that incorporated new technologies for health education and outreach. ‘Tablet Computing for Health Sciences Librarians,’ Stony Brook University, Health Sciences Library (Presenters: Molly Higgins and Jamie Saragossi) will highlight health sciences librarians’ use of new technology to increase library outreach services. ‘Quality and Access of Patient Educational Material in the Cole Memorial Service Area,’ Cole Memorial Hospital (Presenter: Benjamin Bickford) will highlight the impact of technology for nursing education and production of health information materials in an underserved community.
