Profiles of American Libraries bring together in one volume profiles of select academic libraries written by academic librarians from the USA, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. The chapters give information about these libraries' missions. goals, objectives, history, organizational structure, fiscal and HR management, technical and public services, marketing and outreach, information instruction, evaluation of services and programs, consortia and cooperative programs, support for e- learning, physical planning, among other topics.
