Abstract
"Michael Zhang presents findings from a field study that assessed the performance impacts of IS support for strategic flexibility. His research found that IS support for strategic flexibility was positively associated with two common measures of profitability (Return on Sales and Return on Assets) only when IS were complemented by firm-specific organizational culture and structure"--Preface.
