Currently a Professor Emeritus at the University of Rhode where he has served as Dean and Director of University Libraries, Michael Vocino has also had joint appointments in the Department of Political Science and in the Film Media Program as well as Library Technical Services. In retirement, Professor Vocino continues to write on a variety of eclectic subjects including librarianship, morality and mortality, public ethics, film history and autobiography. He also writes short fiction.
