Professor Mulroney is the Director of the Villanova Graduate Tax Program and Acting
Co-Director of the Law School’s Tax Clinic. He is also an adjunct professor in
Georgetown's graduate tax program. Prior to joining the Villanova faculty in 1988,
Professor Mulroney clerked for the U.S. Tax Court, was an appellate attorney in the Tax
Division, U.S. Department of Justice, and spent 25 years as a partner in a Washington
D.C. tax specialty firm. 

Professor Mulroney is a member of the ABA Tax Section and the managing editor of its
quarterly journal, The Tax Lawyer. He is an active member of the tax sections of the D.C.
Bar, the Iowa Bar, the Federal Bar Association and the Association of American Law
Schools. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Tax Conference, the International Fiscal
Association's U.S.A. Branch, the International Fiscal Research Institute Council of
Experts and the J. Edgar Murdock Inn of Court. 

Professor Mulroney has written several articles and several books on various aspects of
taxation, including Federal Tax Examinations Manual (1985 & Supps.) and Foreign
Taxation (1990). In 1993, he was the recipient of the BNA Tax Management Distinguished
Author Award. 

Professor Mulroney holds a Sports Car Club of America competition racing license.
