Dr. Michael Lee teaches in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. He teaches management accounting in the graduate and undergraduate programs at the university. Prior to Boise State University, Michael worked at Arizona State University and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne, Australia in Accounting and Business Information Systems. He has about 20 years experience in management consulting and investment banking. Building on this experience, his research activities centre on enterprise information systems and performance management control system designs. He has also written and contributed numerous industry articles in accounting and finance. Michael is a Senior Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and was awarded various certificates by Deans for teaching excellence. He is a also a co-author of a leading textbook in Accounting Information Systems, a Wiley publication, now in its third edition.
