Abstract

Normative data for the 60-item Boston Naming test with the elderly is limited in two ways. First, until very recently the strongest normative data on the elderly used a more highly educated group of older adults than what is generally found in most clniical practice. In the VanGorp et al. sample the mean level of education was 2 years of college, and a mean IQ score of over 125.
