Melodie Wenz-Gross, PhD, is Research Assistant Professor in the Department of
Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Her primary interests are
in applied research, program development and evaluation focused on promoting child and
adolescent development and mental health. Dr. Wenz-Gross is interested in prevention,
broadly, but especially in regard to building social, self-regulatory, and learning
skills that maximize potential for resilience, social connectedness, and educational
success for at risk populations. She is also interested in implementation science, and
the dissemination of evidence based practices into real-world community settings.
