Technology Competency: Educating the Educators of Tomorrow

Abstract

As the use of technology grows, the effect it has on education also grows. The teachers of tomorrow must not only be able to use the technology of today but must also be able to teach that technology to their students. Educators must be able to prepare their students to use technology for both educational advancement and career opportunities. This paper looks at the development of an online course designed to ensure that all Education majors leave with the knowledge needed to teach the students of tomorrow.
