Mel Regnell is Coordinator of Technical Training at Colby College and “den mother” to a pack of extremely talented student tutors who prowl campus offering technical support and training. With an advanced degree in Adult Education and Training, and over 20 years experience managing world-wide technical training development groups for Fortune 500 Companies, Regnell returned to Academia and a much more simple life on the Maine seacoast in 2005. Her skills include technical writing, computer applications, course development and e-learning; her passions include music, writing, genealogy and sailing – all in that order. She has taught graduate courses in Education and English, and currently offers workshops and seminars in “Silent Voices: Capturing our Pasts for Our Children” and “Journaling as a Contact Sport” on the seacoast.
