Welcome My research integrates my training in clinical psychology, public health, and finance. This integration has resulted in several streams of research: workplace bullying/disruptive behavior, CAM finance, physician leadership development, and financial psychology/behavioral finance. Not only is my research agenda diverse but the research methods are equally varied. I conduct empirical research, qualitative research, and am beginning to explore case research. My proudest research accomplishment is the fact that one of my papers was used as evidence to develop a Joint Commission Standard regarding disruptive behavior that is now one of the cornerstones of change in more than 5,000 health care organizations. This paper may not be well cited among my academic peers but this paper has had a profound impact on hundreds of thousands of employees of the 5,000 plus health care organizations.
