BA(Psych)(Flinders) Dip. App. Psych (Qld) PhD(Qld) Mark Bahr initially obtained his bachelors degree from Flinders University, South Australia and in 1986 his Diploma in Applied Psychology at the University of Queensland. Subsequently he was awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland undertaking positions, first at Griffith University, then University of Queensland before finally coming to Bond University. Dr. Bahr, widely known as a research methodologist, has spent nearly two decades undertaking quantitative research in cognitive and educational psychology. In the last five years has worked predominantly in education. He has been involved in the Queensland Schools Longitudinal Reform Study and the New Basics Trial, for which he has worked as a member of the Framework Advisory Group.
