Professor Solis-Garcia received his PhD in Economics from the University of
Minnesota. He teaches courses in intermediate and quantitative macroeconomics. His
research agenda explores the connection between government policy and private sector
reactions. Professor Solis-Garcia's professional experience includes positions at
the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance in Mexico.
