Marilia Antúnez is a Librarian and Assistant Professor with Albertsons Library at Boise State University. With strong experience as a reference and health sciences librarian, Ms. Antúnez earned a M.A. in Gerontology from Appalachian State University in North Carolina and an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition to her professional work as a reference librarian, she has also written several articles and book reviews, co-authored a Library Services and Technology Act grant on the history of nursing in North Carolina, and is a Senior Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
