Marie Veitia, PhD is a professor in psychiatry at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Veitia received her B.A. and M.A in Psychology at the University of New Orleans. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University. She did her Internship at Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Veitia specializes in Bariatric Surgery Evaluations, Couples Counseling, and Psychological Factors Affecting Physical Illness.
